PETRONAS FRIGOR M68 A
High quality paraffinic refrigeration oil
PETRONAS FRIGOR M 68 A is a refrigeration oil for ammonia systems (R717) formulated with high quality paraffinic base oil and specially selected additives to increase system efficiency, reduce fluid consumption and maintenance costs.
PETRONAS FRIGOR M 68 A has been engineered to reduce oil volatility, their solubility with ammonia, and offer maximum equipment protection by increased thermal and oxidative stability.
Applications
PETRONAS FRIGOR M 68 A is recommended for use in:
- Refrigeration systems using ammonia (NH3)
- Reciprocating and screw compressors
Features and Benefits
Features | Benefits |
---|---|
Low oil volatility | Helps reducing oil consumption and carryover that promotes sludge and deposit formation in evaporators, lowering maintenance costs. |
Low oil solubility in ammonia | Limiting oil viscosity reduction for a reduced wear and higher equipment protection. |
Excellent thermal and oxidative stability | Preventing sludge and deposits formation for longer oil life, minimal maintenance practices and optimal operation of the compressor, heat exchanger and expansion valves. |
Proven technology | Widely used by leading compressor manufacturers for refrigeration systems, guaranteeing excellent performance in all applications for which PETRONAS FRIGOR S is suitable. |
